Hop Ching Hopefully = Ka-Ching

I have had this great star checkers board for a few years.
It was made by the J. Pressman Co, who made the first of these gameboards in the U.S. in the 1920's.  I think this particular board dates to the late 30's or 40's.

I built a table frame, painted it red, used some Briwax on the game board and attached it to the table base.  Hopefully it well sell this week at Farmer's Market,

  1. I would buy this in a second! As a matter of fact I think I used to own that chinese checker game when I was a kid... it looks very familiar! Good luck!

  2. becky,
this is adorable! i love the colors and the table legs, this would make a perfect side table. this should sell very quickly for you.
    happy weekend,

  3. It's a great table! You shouldn't have any trouble selling it!

  4. Not only is it cute and can be used to play the actual game, it has many usages such as being a table as well.

Thanks so much for taking the time to comment, I really appreciate your kind words!
